The Monster Energy Supercross Series visited the City of Angels last weekend, and TransWorld Motocross was on hand to bring a little bit of the action in the pits to you.

Team Honda Muscle Milk rider Trey Canard underwent surgery Tuesday night after sustaining a back injury at Saturday’s Supercross event at Dodger Stadium.

Honda was on the top of the podium with TwoTwo Motorsport’s Chad Reed winning the Supercross class and GEICO Honda’s Eli Tomac winning the Lites class.

Canard injured his back in the incident, and an MRI this morning showed fractures the doctors are evaluating. Canard has 100-percent feeling in his legs, and is currently (Sunday) awaiting the decision by his doctors as to whether or not his injury requires surgery.
